Boys and Sticks

Seems like my boy always has a stick or a rock in hand and with Corbin it hasn't been a great day unless he is dirty (or in this case sandy)!
Actually I guess it was educational, he was drawing letters in the sand, "Do you see this'H' Mama?" "I made a 'C'!" "This is an 'O' and a circle!" Yes Sir, Homeschool begins:)

How does that saying go? 'Walk softly and carry a big stick.'
Check! :)

Tabby Posing

I can always count on Miss Tabby to strike a pose:)

Baby Girl By The Sea

Those sweet little baby hands playing in the sand:)
Watching brother and sister!
They're funny Mama!
Give me that camara! :)

My Baby Girl

Just a few pics the day before Phoebe would turn 1!
I can't believe my baby girl is so big!
She really enjoyed climbing on this tree.
Very photogenic don't you think?

La'ie Point Once Again

Back for a visit at La'ie point.
While looking over a cliff at the churning, crashing waters below- the following conversation took place :
Dr. Daddy- "Maybe we should throw Corbin in."
Mama- "That's fine, he's doing great at swim lessons."
Tabby- "Please don't through Corbin in!"
And Corbin from Daddy's shoulders, with a smille on his face- "Maybe we should throw Daddy in.":)

Pop's Birthday

Pop was kind enough to share his 75th with us. Thanks Pop! We love you:)

A Few of Corbin

Corbin doing his Zoolander face for Bug:) And thanks for encouraging facial tattoos Bug:) Love that spikey hair!
Don't all those famous BMXer's use a paci for tooth safety?
There's nothing like a fresh doughnut from the local bakery!

Tabby's Broken Arm

Tabby managed to break her arm in early Aug. Nothing exciting... she was just reaching for something on top of her dresser while standing on the back of a low chair. I knew we were in trouble when she said, "Mama, this reawy reawy hurts!" It was a buckle fracture of both the radius and ulna.
So she spent two weeks in a long arm cast not that it slowed her down much!
And three more weeks in a short arm cast...

You can't slow this girl down!

The Lu'au

Two nights before the cousins left we finally managed to go to a lu'au, it was a great island experience!
Tabby and Paul on a canoe ride:)
Our Little Hawaiian princess, she really enjoyed the show and even got on stage to learn the Hula:)

July 4th

July 4th was not quite the night we hoped for Dr. Daddy worked so late that there was not time to make it to anywhere official, but we could see the fireworks (in the next town over) from our street. And Mop and Pop had joined us with the cousins so we made the most of it grilling out and making s'mores- roasting our marshmallows over an open candle flame(great idea Bug, I had my doubts but it worked well!:)
The Zoolander pose- for you girls (Is that magnum or blue steel?)

A Visit from the Cousins June '08

The month of June was awesome! The cousins came for a visit/vacation-it also, as it turned out, ended up being moving day just 2 days after their arrival (Thanks for all the help girls:) but we did manage to see some of the island too! This is La'ie point.
Cousin Kelly (KiKi:) and Phoebe
Cousin Natalie (BUG:) and Tabitha (sorry caught y'all with the sun in your eyes)
Corbin @ La'ie point- the hole you see in the background was created by a tsunami on April fools day in 1946
and we managed to hit Sunset Beach too!

Know It's Been Awhile... :) MAY '08

Hey, I know it's been awhile so we willl have to do some back-tracking:) Here are some May '08 pics. Once again it's hard to get everyone to look at the same time ! :) But aren't they cute!
I love this one of Corbin!
